How to Get Paid Blogging

I have been earning money by blogging with SocialSpark, I write up about a 400 word post about which ever topic/lead I choose to blog about from the topics/leads they give me to choose from. In return I earn points for each post I do and trade them in for cash by paypal or a check. Example today I was given a Quaker Oatmeal post to accept or deny, they give you a few days to post it and the points will be there. It's that simple!

Just last month I earned 15,000 points ($1 each point) $15 just for blogging about a Walgreen's post! Does it get that easier to make money? Once you sign up for SocialSpark they will email you when ever they have leads available. I been receiving like 4 leads a month! They allow you to set what ever price you want to get paid for doing each post and find the leads according to your price! Of course you have to be reasonable! But $15 for doing a 400 word post that takes me about 20mins. to post is well worth it to me. That can be a monthly phone bill or cable bill paid.

So, if you have a blog up and running you can sign up as their taking bloggers to publish for them, you don't have to be a "big-time" blogger!!

Tips for Safe Winter Driving

As a mother I always want to be cautious when I'm on the road especially when I'm driving with my family and know that others are out on the road as well. I have to be safe and responsible as a driver. I do love the winter and the snow but I'm sure we all know it could be hard dealing with some of the conditions it can bring like when it is snowing or sleeting or raining. It can be very unsafe at times but many of us has to do it to get to where were going. Most of us has to drive to work, take the kids to school, run very important erronds than't can't wait, go grocery shopping or other places we just simply can't avoid at times. These are those times that we really have to be safe. I know it can be scarey for us all but if we know what to do then it should be easier when the time comes.

I would love to share with you today a few of my tips for safe winter driving that I have learned. These tips has been such a help to me and if they have helped me I'd love to pass it on...Please add on to my tips if you would like to. We can never be to safe on the road!!

Ice:

Ice can be so slippery on car tires, sometimes it can be a small piece of ice that you can't really see get into the way and cause an accident. It's good to drive very,very slow. Drive slow with alot of space between the car in front of you. Avoid slamming on your brakes because they can skid right into another car. Try to gently stop for lights and stop signs ahead of time.

Snow:

Always drive slowly in the snow, when you slow down you can gently pump your brakes and still have space in between the car ahead of you.

Always have your car prepped ahead of time with newer windshield wipers and tires with treads that are 6/32 inch deep. Have gadgets in your car stored like a bag of sand and a shovel.

Rain:

Avoid using cruise control in the rain, being that it's incapable of recognizing different weather conditions it can cut down on your response time causing a big accident.

Walgreens Prescription Savings

Many of us are in love with the convenient 24 hour drive-thru Walgreens provides especially when the locations are close to our neighborhoods saving us on gas. I love to go to Walgreens for my prescriptions,I love their customer service as well. Walgreens tried to negotiate with Express Scripts to come up with a new contract to continue as part of it's Pharmacy Provider Network but it didn't work out. As of January 1,2012 Walgreens is no longer part of Express Scripts Pharmacy Provider Network. Unfortunately this change includes all Walgreens Pharmacies nationwide and Duane Reade Pharmacies in the New York area. Express Scripts's actions are causing disruption with no significant benefit to patients or their health plan. This change has caused many pharmacy patients to go elsewhere to use their benefits who were covered by Walgreens and Express Script. Having to change pharmacies and driving further to another pharmacy can be such a burden and cause many to be upset.
To find out if you are effected by this change, please check the back of your prescription insurance card. If it says Express Scripts on there, you may ask your Walgreens pharmacist if you are directly effected and how they can help you through this change.
Walgreens is trying to help by offering a special discount on annual membership for it's Walgreens Prescription Savings Club For $10 a year a family membership will cover everyone in your immediate family,spouse,dependents under 22 and pets. Individuals may join for only $5. Join and receive discounts on your prescriptions. The Walgreens Prescription Savings Club Membership offers you savings on over 8,000 brand name and generic medications.
