Fresh Scents from Nature
SocialMoms and Seventh Generation has teamed up and invited me to help spread the word about how Seventh Generation created a line of dish liquids featuring natural scents from real lemons, clementines and lavender. You may read more about this request here .
Seventh Generation’s Natural Dish Liquid scents come from fields not factories, and honor the careful hands that cultivated them.
To celebrate Seventh Generation is offering the Nature Makes Perfect Scents sweepstakes - you can enter to win a trip for two to one of the regions where lemons, clementines and lavender grow, including France and Italy. The winner chooses the region, which also includes Vermont, Seventh Generation’s home state and the inspiration for its Free & Clear line. You may read more about that here.
As a little girl growing up I always loved to lay in the grass in my backyard and watch the beauty of nature.I would look at the flower pedals and all the pretty colors and just enjoy all fresh scents that would fill the air.The smell of the grass would be so amazing to me.I would pick a cute yellow dandelion flower and rub the yellow on my chin and the smell would linger under my nose for hours. The rose bushes were just so pretty growing,I'd pick one to give to my mother every year for her birthday.
Those days as a young child I could never forget, every time I visit my mothers house I make it a point to take my kids in her yard and we will sit and just listen to the crickets and enjoy the fresh flower scents together.I smile every time I think about it.lol,,,I just hope my kids will want to do this with their children as they grow-up as well,it's so nice and peaceful while enjoying a fresh scent!I can be that little girl again every single time I visit my mother's house. It's like having a fun, joyful 8yr.old girl all over again for her.
Please feel free to comment below about some of the fresh scents from nature that you enjoy? What do you think about when you smell them?
