TV Flashbacks DVDs & Blu-rays Review & Giveaway
(ends 6/4/12) Ended
To be honest, these days I'm not really to fond with watching t.v, it just don't really interest me much anymore. But then when I think about the family- friendly shows I'd use to watch as I was growing up that my mother would put on I have to smile. Those were the good movies to watch such as RoseAnne, That 70's Show, Beautiful Planet and many more I can remember. My sisters and me would sit in an indian style and watch RoseAnne for hours on end!
So when Mill Creek Entertainment generously offered to send me some of my favorite movies to review and to host a giveaway I had to jump on it!!
I was sent the following DVDs to review and I must say they took me back, way back with another smile on my face. My family and I watched these with some popcorn and jubilee candy and had a fun weekend out of them!

In 1860, as the American Experiment threatened to explode into a bloody civil war, there were as many as four hundred thousand slave-owners in the United States, and almost four million slaves. The nation was founded upon the idea that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The nation would pay a bloody cost for denying that right to more than twelve percent of its population.
But when slavery was first brought to America's shores, this war, and even the nation it tore apart, was centuries in the future. With incredibly detailed historical reenactments, expert commentary and the stories of slavery told through first-hand accounts, this is an epic struggle 400 years in the making. A journey into the past like none other. This is the story of these men and women who by their hands laid the foundation of what would become the most powerful nation on Earth. Join us as we rise...UP FROM SLAVERY.

Its a tough call because I would look forward to both the up from slavery and medal of honour as these are both movies I think would be important for my five year old son to watch in a few years. However I would say Rosanne because I remember watching this! And Since laughter is the best medicine - yeah this is my choice lol amylovesbeingmom at gmail dot com
Rosanne because I love comedies!
Roseanne is my favorite show, it's funny. Darlene is my favorite character.
The Medal of Honor, I love hearing these stories
I love Roseanne because she was a mom of kids and some days I feel like her with my kids especially the older ones.
