My Favorite Peeps Moments

My Favorite Peeps Moments

It was always a must to add Marshmallow Peeps in all the Easter egg baskets for the kids throughout the years. It is like a tradition for many families!! As a kid I can remember growing up year after year every Easter morning seeing all the different color marshmallow peeps in our baskets. My favorite color was always the pink and blue peeps.I would lick a part of the pink peep just enough for the color to run,I would take my peep and rub it on my face as blush for my cheeks. Then I would take the blue and use a few dabs on my eyelids as eyeshadow.Of course I couldn't leave the house with the sticky candy on my face but I enjoyed looking like a princess in till my mother would make me take a bath and wash it all off.She would take pictures of me still in my night-gown with my Easter basket in my arms with my face all done up.I pull the pictures out every year to show my kids but they refuse to try it out!

Another memory I have is one that I should be ashamed for but I think it's so funny till this day.My sister and I woke up one Easter morning and went down stairs for our Easter baskets. Our baskets were both filled with the same amount of candy and every piece was the same color. As we started pulling out our goodies in our baskets my sister looked up to see if my basket had marshmallow peeps, she knew every year we had them and they were our favorite.I saw her face turn bright red when she looked over and saw all my peeps and she had none.My laugh gave it away that I knew what happened to her peeps. My mother made me apologize for sneaking down in the middle of the night and eating my sister's peeps!I don't think she ever got over it! lol..

Do you have any peeps memories you can share? Please leave a comment below!

This is a fantastic post! My sister is a PEEP lover - always has been. She likes to let them get stale before eating them, she says they're best that way :-)
