How to Get Paid Blogging

I have been earning money by blogging with SocialSpark, I write up about a 400  word post about which ever topic/lead I choose to blog about from the topics/leads they give me to choose from. In return I earn points for each post I do and trade them in for cash by paypal or a check. Example today I was given a Quaker Oatmeal post to accept or deny, they give you a few days to post it and the points will be there. It's that simple!

Just last month I earned 15,000 points ($1 each point) $15 just for blogging about a Walgreen's post! Does it get that easier to make money? Once you sign up for SocialSpark they will email you when ever they have leads available. I been receiving like 4 leads a month! They allow you to set what ever price you want to get paid for doing each post and find the leads according to your price! Of course you have to be reasonable! But $15 for doing a 400 word post that takes me about 20mins. to post is well worth it to me. That can be a monthly phone bill or cable bill paid.

So, if you have a blog up and running you can sign up as their taking bloggers to publish for them, you don't have to be a "big-time" blogger!!

To be honest, these days I'm not really to fond with watching t.v, it just don't really interest me much anymore. But then when I think about the family- friendly shows I'd use to watch as I was growing up that my mother would put on I have to smile. Since I was a kid my mother always used a well known brand of vapor rub for my sisters and I when we were sick with the sniffles and congested. She would also pull out the vaporizer to have on through out the night. About time I fall into a good, deep sleep at night the alarm clock is going off!! At 5:30am my day starts! I drag myself out of bed with my eyes so low and puffy, I feel like turning around and going back to sleep but being a mother I have to wake the kids up to help get them ready for school. If you have kids like my kids then you have to deal with the grouchy one that won't budge out of the bed, then I have one that is winning how tired he is. The other 2 are looking like their zombies! With all 5 of us moving very slowly and sleepy we take turns washing our faces and head downstairs for some of what we call our morning wake up. This is how we start the day on a fresh note! Clorox - Clean Up Recipes for Fun

Family time is very important especially for children. Sometimes at my house it can be hard for me to come up with different ideas that will interest my kids to do together as a family and to agree on. Especially with the older kids, they always claim to be to busy to spend quality time with each other or on the go. My younger one's love when it's Art's and Craft's time at our house. We keep a special closet with shelves and different containers or bins to store all of our activity items in. It's easier to keep things organized this way.  

At Least twice a week the kids and I will think of a project we can do for Art's and Craft's time, usually the kids will take turns each time to choose which craft we will do. My favorite craft is when we make cute bags for some one's birthday. It's fun to do and it saves money to make a fun bag and add fun items in it like pens, pencils, pads, fun stamps, crayons, treats or whatever depending on who's birthday it is. We each take a lunch baggy, I love the white ones! Depending if it's being made for a girl or boy on a birthday or holiday we use our zig-zag fun scissors to cut out different hearts or stars, sometimes baseballs or footballs with the different color construction paper and glue the pieces on the outside of the bags. We stuff them with gift wrapping paper and fill them. While we make these, we all take turns taking pictures with the camera to use later for our scrap booking projects.

Goals to Boost My Blogging Productivity

I have been blogging now for the past 3years and I'm just not happy with my productivity.I feel like I could be doing so much more with my blog,with so many options out there I can't seem to get it together the way I'd like it to be.One of my biggest problems is my schedule and organization.I'm all over the place bouncing, starting many projects but not finishing them then I skip to the next.I have to get focused and come up with a plan.This is where the blogging class  http://www.blogelina.com/ I participate in helps.I'm first going to have to make a list of goals for my blog and then stick to them.If I go in the order of my list of goals and finish things by the due dates I'd be on my way to boost my blogging productivity!

Here are my weekly goals I came up with:

Weekends:

Go over my blog to update it,add or delete any buttons or posts.Basically clean it up

Participate in blog hops

Clean out my email folders and catch up with emails

Do my class homework

Weekdays:

Type up at least one blog post

Do 2 things off my to do list that has deadlines

Enter 5-10 giveaways

Visit and comment on 1-3 blogs

Check out my emails

Visit and participate in 1-2 social sites

Tuesdays:

Attend Blogelina's online class

1x Per Month,usually on the 15th.

Host a giveaway hopefully for a company or myself

With these goals I really do plan to stick with them,I know with having narcolepsy sometimes it will be hard but I'm going to fight to complete my daily goals during school hours.The evenings are for my kids and housework!

How Many Hours Do You Really Spend on the Internet???

If your anything like me you love the Internet,you love blogging,chatting with people from all around the world and learning what ever new information you can about your interests!!

 Do you have your cell phone set up to alert you with new emails,facebook messages,twitter updates and of course the weather?? I can honestly say "no" to that question only because with Instant Messenger I catch every alert I set. How?? Because I sit on my computer almost allday.lol...there,I said it.I admit it and I'm not proud of it.I sit in the same spot every chance I get and just type away,I read so much that now I have to wear eye glasses to see the computer screen.Look at me now.it's 9:00pm and my eye lids are so heavy but I'm afraid to go to bed and miss something online.I dream about being online and I wake up just to hurry with my household chores to get back online.As soon as I walk my son to his bus stop in the mornings I hurry home to get online.



It's a problem when you know your company or family members come over to visit and your sitting in the same spot week in and week out.I will soon get sores on my butt like some people get the bed sores!!

                                        

Yes,this sounds so funny or crazy depending on your thoughts but it's true and I'm admitting it.Of course you wonder how do I have time online as a mother? Well,I type between stirring the mac n cheese cooking on the stove,I type while the load of laundry is spinning,I type while calling and making family appointments on the phone,especially when I'm on hold with customer service for 20-30 minutes a day! I do find a way to make sure after the kids come home from school the house is clean,dinner is on time,I listen to how their day was,I help with their homework,see to it they take their baths and off to the computer I go once their in bed!! 

My pledge.......this will be hard but I'm willing to cut back from the Internet ATLEAST 2 straight hours per day for the rest of this week until Saturday night 9pm.,,this is my pledge and I want to be held accountable...so I will be honest and let you all know how I do when it's over!!

So,now that your know my confession How Many Hours Do You Really Spend on the Internet???
